Are you finding it hard to pursue a career and an MBA? Do you travel a lot for your job? Do you wish you could earn an MBA without moving to another city? PSU's Online MBA+ is designed for ultimate flexibility. You decide when to study and interact with your professors and classmates - days, evenings, or weekends. You can attend class anywhere there's a personal computer and an Internet connection.
Much of the Online MBA+ course-work is accessible electronically using proven educational technologies and methodologies with a focus on the World Wide Web. It really doesn't matter where you live. Nor does it make a difference if you do your best thinking after midnight. Whatever works for you.
Better still, the program offers the best of two academic worlds. Not only do you get the ultimate in flexibility, you also benefit from Friday-Saturday campus residencies once each academic term (four times per year), providing valuable face-to-face time with your classmates and professors. (Residency Policy)
The Online MBA+ is carefully tailored to provide you access to the best, fully accredited MBA education possible, without the constraints of a traditional, campus-based program. It truly is an MBA with a difference.
Is the Online MBA+ for You?
The PSU Master of Business Administration degree emphasizes a systematic, applied, cross-functional approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical problem-solving skills. Project-based learning in most courses provides opportunities for students to apply their learning to real-life situations. The projects are a combination of individual and team assignments. Students work in cross-site teams interacting and collaborating with fellow students from around the state and elsewhere.
The MBA program is designed for students with both business and non-business degrees and is best suited for those who have gained at least two years of full-time, professional experience before their admission date. It is recommended that students preparing to enter the MBA program have skills in the following areas:
• microcomputer applications
• writing and public speaking
• introductory calculus
It is also recommended that students be comfortable with the idea of participating in a distance learning program. Much of the work students undertake in the program will be student-centered and self-directed. It is also important that students are well-versed in the use of a personal computer and software for accessing and using Internet-based resources.
